Gorillas are the largest and most powerful of all primates. The silverback male protects the group and his position by beating his chest and roaring.
Increased self esteem, enhanced social skills and improved educational outcomes are some of the positive benefits experienced by Indigenous children in the Indigenous Awareness Program. This program, which has been active for two years, targets high risk children under 24hr departmental care. Children enter a fun, engaging learning environment where they develop positive skills necessary for adulthood.
