You can help save a species; to ensure that this tiny Black Rhinoceros is not the last of her kind. Little Kufara is a new generation of this critically endangered animal which is rapidly disappearing from our world.
We need to raise $200,000 to continue our vital work. It’s a lot of money but if we all help just as much as we can, we’ll soon reach our target and surely no price is too high to save a species from extinction.
Please support Taronga Western Plains Zoo’s vital Black Rhino conservation breeding program to help save this magnificent creature from extinction.
Plus if you can afford to donate $500 you will be invited to an exclusive evening with me, Dr Benn Bryant and our Rhino Keepers.
You can do something amazing today and help save a species. The Tassie Devil needs your help right now as it is facing extinction in the wild.
I'm Nick De Vos and one of my responsibilities as a senior keeper is managing the Tassie Devils at Taronga Zoo. Tassie Devils are being wiped out in the wild at an alarming rate due to a horrific cancer. Taronga and Taronga Western Plains Zoos are working with other zoos across Australia to breed an insurance population of devils to release back into the wild when it's safe to do so.
This year the Taronga Foundation is celebrating ten years of helping to develop our zoos and make a difference to our natural world. Ten years of supporting animals large and small, far and wide; from Asian Elephants to Little Penguins, Sumatran Tigers to Tasmanian Devils.
There is much to celebrate , but still so much to do. With so many species under threat it's essential that Taronga continues its vital work.
Please help Taronga continue its work with a monthly donation.
