This year the Taronga Foundation is celebrating ten years of helping to develop our zoos and make a difference to our natural world. Ten years of supporting animals large and small, far and wide; from Asian Elephants to Little Penguins, Sumatran Tigers to Tasmanian Devils. In fact in the last year alone we've supported 35 essential programs including research into Leopard Seals, the release of 600 Boorolong Frogs and 13,000 of their eggs, funding for 11 in-situ conservation programs from Sri Lanka to Lord Howe Island, and the breeding of African Wild Dogs, Tasmanian Devils, and, of course, two Asian Elephant Calves.
There is much to celebrate , but still so much to do. With so many species under threat it's essential that Taronga continues its vital work.
Please help Taronga continue its work with a monthly donation. You can help by donating whatever you can afford. Whatever you can give is 100% tax deductible for Australian residents.
Plus for every $1 you give us the NSW Government will donate $3.
Please give generously and help Taronga support vital conservation, education, research and development projects with your monthly donation. A monthly donation helps lower our costs and enables our efforts to protect and conserve wildlife for the next ten years and beyond.
As a thank you for your support we'll also send you a beautiful photograph of our latest elephant arrival - Pathi Harn.
Thank you for your support. With your help we will be able to make a difference.
