A Wild Africa Encounter is an exclusive behind the scenes opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the most iconic African animals. Come face to face with exotic animals such as the Black and White Rhinoceros and Cheetah. The tour will also take you on a safari-like experience as the bus heads out onto the African Savannah exhibit where a number of animals roam together including Giraffe and Zebra.
The tour costs $29.00 for adults and $19.00 for children in addition to Zoo admission. Wild Africa Encounter commences at 10:45am and last for approximately an hour.
Not available on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day. Available Saturdays and Sundays only in February. Booking, payment and enquiries can be made at the Information Centre or phone 02 6881 1400.
Note: All children 15 years and under must be accompanied by a paying adult and children under seven are unable to feed the Black Rhinoceros.
